Lightning Detector
The BLI-1 Detector is an early warning device, intended to alert that lightning is in the area of
Golf Courses and outdoor driving ranges.
By detecting lightning in approaching weather fronts at ten (10) miles away. The 120db siren alerts everyone to head for shelter and to remain sheltered until ½ hour after the BLI-1 detector stops reporting.
There is no need to worry about night time alerts, as the BLI-1 detector is equipped with electronics to distinguish between night and day.
The BLI-1 detector is easy to install. Simply attach the unit to a wooden post (4x4) using included mounting hardware.
The BLI-1 detector is also maintenance free and totally self sufficient. It does not require any external power wiring. It is covered with a lifetime warranty, except for the battery (which has a life of it's own) that uses a unique charger that will condition the battery and extend battery life.
Most importantly the BLI-1 detector is economical to purchase.
